Little Snowdrop
The world may never notice if a Snowdrop doesn’t bloom,
Or even pause to wonder if the petals fall too soon,
But every life that ever forms or even comes to be,
Touches the world in some small way for all eternity.
The little one we longed for was swiftly here and gone,
But the love that was then planted is a light that still shines on,
And though our arms are empty our hearts know what to do,

i read your words and felt much heartache for you and your family having recently just giving birth to my son also asleep at Burnley on friday at 16:10 you welcomed me into SANDS and it'll never be forgotten.

Maia. I am sorry I have not written before but I really didn't know what to say. Your mummy and I were so looking forward to welcoming you into the world but it wasn't to be. I was fortunate to see you at the last scan when we found out you were a girl and I was there when you came into this world - asleep but beautiful. However you did a lot of good in the short time you were here - your mummy is a different person since you came along. I am so proud of the way she has dealt with you leaving. She organised a beautiful funeral for you and has made a lovely resting place for us to visit. Look after her Maia and help her to be happy.
We will never forget you. You will always be my first grandchild. Lots and lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
